"A look at the future"-venture 1.1.2008 - 31.12.2012

Practical and concrete assistance for the immigrants: at job seeking, when studying, when improving one´s readiness for the labour market. Knowledge about the Finnish working culture, about the working methods of a work team, interaction skills etc.

An immigrant has a chance:

If you are unemployed job seeker

To get assistance in job seeking and at the initial starting time of a job
To be better prepared for the labour market thus improving your life situation
To maintain your readiness for the labour market and actively look for a job at the
International Meeting Point
To get aquainted with the Finnish working culture and the multicultural work team
as a trainee.
To attend the Finnish language lessons (Russia speakers are being taught in their native
Language)
To participate in other schooling, events and excursions
To share you own ideas and wishes with others

If you are working or studying

To get assistance with different situations occurring at work or study sites
To improve you Finnish skills as well as the special vocabulary needed at work or studies

Computer, printer and the internet pages at your disposal in the net corner

You can look for jobs, draw a job application/work history (CV) etc.
You have chance to study and practise the Finnish language independently
You find info on the Finnish society and working culture on the internet pages
